Ingredients

2 Fresh salmon filets

3 Tablespoons Maple Mayhem

3 sprigs of Fresh rosemary

1 fresh Lemon

3 Tablespoons Butter

4 Tablespoons Olive Oil

1 Tablespoon Garlic powder

Salt & pepper to taste

Preparation

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees and heat 3 tablespoons each of the olive oil and butter over medium-high heat in a skillet.

Coat your salmon filets in just enough olive oil to get the salt, pepper, and garlic powder to stick to it while the butter melts and comes up to temperature.

Lay your filets in the skillet skin side down and drop in a branch of fresh rosemary. As the rosemary infuses into the oil/butter mixture, baste it over the top of the salmon.

Slice a lemon into wheels and set aside while you prep a baking sheet for the salmon.

Flip your salmon, and once it’s at about 90% of the way cooked through (about 5 minutes in), pull it out and set on your baking sheet.

Completely cover your filets in Maple Mayhem, and “glue” a sprig of fresh rosemary to each filet with the Maple Mayhem. Anchor them down with a lemon wheel or two and bake in the oven until the salmon’s perfectly cooked and the Maple Mayhem caramelizes, about 5 minutes, but watch it closely.

Pull from the oven, squeeze on fresh lemon juice, and collect your trophy!
