Ingredients
Burger:
1 Lb. Ground turkey
1/4 Cup Nonfat Greek yogurt
2 Scallions, chopped
1 Garlic clove, minced
2 Tbsp Garam Masala
2 Whole wheat pita pockets, cut in half to make 4 (or 4 whole wheat buns)
Flake salt and Black Pepper to taste
Leaf lettuce, 4 leaves
Dipping Sauce:
1/3 Cup Nonfat Greek yogurt
1 tsp Garlic powder
2 Scallions, chopped
1 tsp Lemon juice
1 tsp Garam Masala
1/2 tsp Flake salt
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
Preparation
Preheat grill to medium-high.
While it is preheating make the dipping sauce by combining the 1/3 cup nonfat Greek yogurt, scallions, garlic, Garam Masala, lemon juice, and salt and pepper and mix well. Set this aside.
Combine the burger ingredients of ground turkey, nonfat Greek yogurt, scallions, garlic, salt and pepper, and Garam Masala and mix well. Form into 4 patties.
Place patties on grill. Cook for 5-7 minutes per side, turning once.
Remove patties from grill and serve on whole wheat pitas or whole wheat buns with leaf lettuce and dipping sauce.
